209. Query for Feb 2014 Myanmar tour

I came across your website, Design Travel Pte Ltd, and would like to know more about the tours to Myanmar that you may have.

I and 2 other girlfriends are planning to visit Myanmar sometime in the 2nd half of Feb 2014. Would you have a  tour about 7 to 8 days,

which would include Yangon, Bagan, Inle lake, and Mandalay? Also, our preference is to fly direct from SIN.

I am David helping Judy. Pl let me have some info on the proposed tour dates (e.g. Feb 15 - 22 2014), no. of people, no. of rooms needed, 3 or 4-star hotel, so that I can propose an itinerary and give you a quotation.

There are some tours in the Design Travel website for you to refer to. As tourism is booming in Myanmar, please let me have the specific dates to give you a proper quotation.

Briefly, the dates for the places ( Yangon, Bagan, Inle lake, and Mandalay ) is as follows:

Feb 15, 2014  Sin - Yangon. Morning flight from Singapore. Lunch & dinner in Yangon. Hotel in Yangon.

Feb 16             Yangon - Mandalay by air in the morning. Hotel in Mandalay.

Feb 17             Mandalay.  Hotel in Mandalay.                 

Feb 18             Mandalay - Bagan by air in the morning. Hotel in Bagan.

Feb 19.            Bagan. Hotel in Bagan.

Feb 20             Bagan to Inle Lake by air.  Hotel in Inle Lake.

Feb 21             Inle Lake. Hotel in Inle Lake.

Feb 22             Inle to Yangon in the morning by air. Hotel in Yangon

Feb 23             Yangon to Singapore.

You may need to stay only one day and night in Mandalay and go to Bagan on Feb 17 instead of Feb 18.

All hotels must be paid in full early (e.g. in Oct/Nov) to get confirmed rooms as the demand is too high.

You need to prepare for delays in flights as in all travels and therefore I advise domestic flights to be taken in the morning.

     

It is not possible to give you quotations of hotel rates unless you are prepared to confirm the hotels in Oct/Nov as the hotels do not "reserve" rooms to Feb 2014 at the same rates as given in Oct 2013. This is due to high demand and low supply of 3 and 4-star hotels. Most tourists plan 3 months in advance for tourism to Myanmar.
