We are OK with 3 star hotels or guesthouse (but of course 4 star would be lovely) In fact I have done quite extensive research and have preferred guesthouses. But I know it may be easier for you to arrange everything.

We want to have double room please i.e. one bed!

GUIDE: We are happy to do free and easy .... but for certain places which the guide can explain history, background well, we are happy to use local guide. The xtra cost would be worth, we think.

FLIGHTS

No need international flights. In my email, I said we would already be in Myanmar (we have a work project in Myanmar before 10 Feb) WITHIN Myanmar, we prefer flights to save time. Myanmar roads are not so good & we are short of time. The only request: if we have time can we take the local boat between Mandalay-Bagan? which leaves at 6am?

4. Once the itinerary is agreed upon, subject to availability of Mandalay to Bagan boat travel at 6 am,  it will be finalised and quotations will be given. It is time-consuming to make changes again as Myanmar's tourism communications are not yet fully developed, therefore I advise a thorough review.  

1. Two female travellers
2. 3-star hotel. 4-star if available. Prefers guest-houses. Double room, one bed
3. Tour guides with local knowledge if available.


Feb 10, 2013     In Yangon before Feb 2013 working on a project. Yangon overnight
Feb 11              Yangon to Golden Rock. Golden Rock overnight.
Feb 12              Golden Rock and visit to surrounding towns. Yangon overnight.
Feb 13              Morning flight to Mandalay. Mandalay overnight.
Feb 14              6 am boat from Mandalay to Bagan. Bagan overnight.
Feb 15              In the afternoon, car ride to Mount Popa. Mount Popa overnight.
Feb 16              Mount Popa. See sunrise over Mount Popa back to Bagan. In the afternoon, Bagan by domestic flight to Mandalay.  Mandalay overnight.
Feb 16             Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin by car. Pyin Oo Lwin overnight.
Feb 17              Pyin Oo Lwin.  Afternoon. Pyin Oo Lwin to Mandalay. Mandalay overnight
Feb 18              Mandalay to Yangon by domestic flight. Yangon overnight
Feb 19              Yangon and back to Singapore
